Types of Razors Found on Electric Shavers

!±8± Types of Razors Found on Electric Shavers

When it comes to men's shavers not all are created equal. There are all sorts of electric shavers out there with special functions, but one of the most important things that we often overlook is the actual razor that our shaver comes with. There are many different types of razors that are put on shavers and it's important to not the benefits of some of these.

One of the most common ones you'll find is the foil razor. They have been putting these on shavers for as long as electric shavers have been made. There is a reason they are still used today. They allow you to cut your hairs from any angle. This means you'll be able to just shave once and not have to go back over the same parts of your face again and again. Not all of your hairs grow the same way which makes it so great. They are mostly found with a single razor as well. This gives you ultimate maneuverability when you are shaving.

Another very important one to consider is the rotary razor. These are almost always found with three rotary heads. The great thing about these is that they move on their own. This allows them not to give any definitive shave so your whole face will be getting a great shave and you won't have to go over areas again and again. These were also designed with special holes in the heads so that you can cut your short and long hairs. The next time you are shopping for a electric shaver remember these tips.

How to Make Homemade Shaving Cream

!±8± How to Make Homemade Shaving Cream

A homemade shaving cream is simple to make, and it also nourishes and moisturizes your skin at the same time. In addition to that, it works well with men's electric shavers, too, as well as your conventional disposable razors.

Turning to natural alternatives hits two birds with one stone. This is because it helps reduce the consumption of chemically infused products. Also, by using homemade products, you are able to save money that you usually spend in buying those commercial ones.

In order to make your very own homemade shaving cream you must take note of the ingredients to be used and the procedures to be done. The recipe for homemade shaving cream consists of the following: four tablespoons of an essential fatty acid-rich oil such as sweet almond, jojoba, and apricot; two tablespoons of a natural skin moisturizer and nourisher such as shea butter, cocoa butter, or beeswax; two cups of distilled or filtered water, so that it is pure in every way; one spoon of baking soda, to soften and protect the skin; four tablespoons of castile soap which is vegetable oil-based; half a cup of either aloe vera gel or honey; and essential oils. The last two ingredients are just optional so it is up to you whether you would add them or not.

In making your shaving cream, you should first heat the oil and skin nourisher in your double boiler. Then, stir both ingredients together until you get a clear mixture. Once done, pour the mixture into a large bowl and leave it to cool.

Using a pan, heat some water. Then, follow by adding the baking soda and castile soap. Stir these until the solids become diluted completely. When already diluted, you can now then add the aloe vera gel or honey, whichever you choose to use, into the solution and just continue stirring.

Afterwards, pour the second mixture into the bowl containing the first mixture. If you have chosen to use essential oils, then you can add it to the new mixture. As soon as you are through, blend everything with the use of a hand mixer or a blender. The mixture should be blended very well.

Then, transfer the cream into an airtight container. You may use old jelly or pickle jars for this. Just make sure that the jars are cleaned very well and have no residue or odors. Then, presto, you have your very own homemade shaving cream ready for use.

It is indeed a nice thing to be able to make things at home. This way, you would no longer need to worry about the chemicals that are used in products. With this homemade shaving cream, those who have really sensitive skin will get benefits from it. It is so easy to make, hassle free, natural in every sense of the word, and is perfectly compatible for use with mens electric shavers.

Braun Pulsonic VS Philips Arcitec
